A person that I admire

Posted in My Interests on March 25, 2013 by samuelbelsito

Probably the one and only person I look up to and admire is my brother. He’s four years older than me, but he still acts younger than me. He’s always been there for me and i’m glad he is. He raised me rough, but it was for the better and i realize that now.

I admire him for many reasons, but mainly because he’s like a mentor to me. He shows me everything, the rights and wrongs. And I’m smart enough to follow the rights and not the wrongs. I’ve followed some of his footsteps and they’ve taught me a lot.

He’s gone through some rough times, and I’ve almost lost him. But he’s still here, and he’s shown me to never give up. When him and I are working on something and i’m having troubles, he will literally scream at me to keep trying until I get it. And eventually I will get it.

He’s shown me that almost everything is possible if you put effort into it. Even though he’s much older than I am, he still acts my age. And him and I partake in some very entertaining bonding time. He’ll usually come into my room when i’m playing games and we’ll just BS. And it’s nice.

And that’s the person who I admire, my 20-year old brother Ryan. He’ll always be there for me as will I for him. And I love him to death. If it came to, I’d choose him over me, just because of what he’s done for me. He’s given me so much and I can’t possibly think of ever being able to pay him back for it, no matter what I do.

He’s a huge impact on my life, and more of a father figure to me, rather than a brother. I couldn’t have asked for any better. I wish he knew how much I actually appreciate him and what he’s done for me. Thanks Ryan.

Something i’m thankful for

Something that i’m thankful for would have to be technology, especially my computer. My computer is my hobby, and it’s my gateway to my life. Not only does my computer give me something to do, but I also have made many friends.

The games I play on the computer amuse me, and they bring me much enjoyment. There are many types of games; Mmorpg, RPG, RTS, FPS, and many more. My personal favorites are Mmorpg, TPS, RTS, and FPS. I’ve put many hours into playing video games. And I plan to put many more in, because I have so much fun playing the games. I’ve probably sank in about 2500+ hours. Some games are very addicting though, and when you have to pay for games that are addicting, you can get a huge hole in your wallet. I tend to stay away from those games.

The people I meet are endless in variety as well. I play games with people from all over the world. And I’ve actually made some pretty good friends. There was this clan full of Canadians that I had been with for over five months. They’re really nice people, but sadly the group broke apart and we all lost communication with each other. But every day I make new friends, and lose some friends. One of my best friends is in Texas, which is across the country from me. We met over a video game, and we still play games with each other to this day.

What Interests Me

One of the few things that interests me are computers. They’re very intricate, and I love working on them. Everything about a computer fascinates me. The way they work, how all of the parts work together, but the only downside is the cost. If you’re a serious computer gamer, you’re going to need a good amount of money for a good computer. I first started using a computer when I was about eight years old. I really didn’t play many games, but there were a few. When I was about 14 I started to get serious in computer gaming, but I didn’t have a good computer to play the latest and greatest games. But by the age of 15, I’ve learned enough to build my own computer, and now I have a completed gaming computer. I plan to still have this interest in computers for the rest of my life. My sole career is going to be a computer engineer. I will also never stop playing computer games. The people I meet and the experience I get from playing online computer games is amazing. But as of now, I’m going to focus on learning programming and coding, now that’ll be a challenge.
